Hi Kris my wife works casual hours (irregular hours) but receives income from my business via the family trust. In regards to pay slips would her annual tax return suffice do you know as proof of income? thanks Jarrod

Hi Kris, can you please advise, if i can use 100,000 bonus points towards buying tickets for multiple travelers ? Or i can only spend those points towards 1 traveler (1 Ticket) as its linked to a single Qantas Frequent Flyer Account ?

In reply to Grant Johnson. Hi Grant, it means you must not have had a card in the past 18 months. Given you have a card now, you're not eligible for a sign-up bonus unfortunately.

Hi – there’s a little ambiguity I’d like clarified. The advert states:
That means you must not have held a card issued directly by American Express Australia in the last 18 months.
Does that mean the card must not have been actually issued by Amex in the last 18 months, or you must not have had a card at any time in the last 18 months? I’ve had one for 30 years but the original was not issued to me in the last 18 months, it was 30 years ago.
Can you advise please?

Related to travel credit and Qantas points, was reading the as below from AMEX FAQs.
Does this also apply to very important Status Credits if planning points run. From your experience, if book flight using $450 travel credit via AMEX Travel site, will still get Status Credits, or will be be apportioned based on $450 value like Qantas points?

Do I earn Qantas points when I redeem my Qantas Travel Credit?
Your booking and travel will accrue Qantas Points in the usual way, except for the $450 Qantas Travel Credit portion of your booking which will not earn Qantas Points.
